Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations
- How can I make a reservation?
- Reservations are accepted through Tabelog or by phone. On our English, Chinese and Korean pages, the booking buttons take you to the corresponding language edition of Tabelog.
- Can I book for the same day?
- Same-day reservations cannot be made through Tabelog, as we need time to prepare the course. If you come to the shop in person, we can offer you a later seating once payment for that day has been made in advance.
- Can I book the whole shop for a private event?
- Yes, private hire is available. Please call the shop using the telephone number shown on each shop page, and we will discuss the details with you.
- Is there a cancellation fee?
- Cancellations made the day before your reservation are charged 50 percent of the course price, and cancellations on the day itself are charged 100 percent. We will give you the bank transfer details by phone.
Your visit
- Are you open over the New Year holidays?
- We are closed from 31 December to 3 January. In years when 4 January falls on a Sunday, we are closed on that day as well.
- What payment methods do you accept?
- We accept cash and major credit cards. For private hire, payment by invoice is also available.
- Can I take photographs inside the shop?
- Please feel free to take photographs. We would be grateful if you could take care not to include other guests in your shots.
Menu
- Can you accommodate food allergies?
- We are very sorry, but we cannot accommodate allergies to dairy, eggs or wheat flour, and we cannot offer vegan options. The main fruit of each course cannot be changed either.
- How often does the menu change?
- The menu and the interior change with each Japanese season. The course currently being served and the dates it runs are shown on each shop page.
Children
- Can I come with children?
- Children of elementary school age and older are welcome. Please reserve seats for the number of guests of elementary school age and above. If you are bringing a preschool-age child, please tell us when you book, as we will need to discuss the seating arrangement with you.
